Ted Talk

From David Griffin's speech, I realized to be a good photographer; it does not just depend on how amazing the picture is, it depends on the reader's feeling and the meaning behind the photos. Even though a photo looks very simple but it can take photographer a long time to take. There is a picture of a group of camels, we can see the clean desserts and the shadow of the camels. There are some pictures of some dangerous animals, if you want to capture the wonderful moment of them, it takes a long time and the photographer are all in a dangerous place that they can easily lose their life.
A picture can represent a story or a significant time that we want to record from our life. I remember when I hang out with my close friend or go to travel with my family, I want to take a picture with them because I want to record the happy time with them and save the image as the keepsake.
The photograph represents our mind, there is some picture impact me a lot, there is some picture about Africa, the photographer took a lot of the scenery we could not see in Africa, but he also made the picture about the elephants.  It does not only show the elephants’ life, but it also indicates a tragedy that when the elephants go to outside of the natural reserve, there are so many people wait for them and want to kill them just for the ivory. It also shows the horror of the human nature that they destroy the elephants just for money. Therefore, the photos can make people understand animals to experience the pain of animals. The photographer also wants to use the picture to call on everyone to protect them.
